Uggghh - October 12th 2009, 03:05 AM

If I'm this stupid and this useless, what's the point?

EDIT: Without friends, intellectual control (I keep feeling like I have potential but always end up watching crap on tv instead of learning, talking to people, reading, or anything else), creativity, or talent.. why stay? If I'm 16 and have never truly had friends I wanted to have (except one who I never see), not in years... if I'm incapable of making friends at school, when there are idiots who have loads of friends... why stay? The only good reason is other people. I have no one. (It's becoming clear that I will never have anyone). I also have no desire to commit suicide [so why am I posting here?], just to be unconscious forever. For at least a very long time. A very, very, very, very, very long time.

Beth,

It seems like you are going through a rough time but you can and will get through this. I know it sucks to be alone or at least feel that way but that can change too.

I, personally, have experience with this. I haven't had friends in my life but recently I have started meeting people and I think I might be slowly making friends. Making friends is a long process but it can and will happen to you you just have to give it time.

Are there any clubs that interest you that you could join? It might be hard to join a new club with new people but in the end it really might help you meet people. What do you think? Sometimes we just have to push ourselves to do something we really do not want to do and then in the end we are glad we were able to push ourselves. Please give it a try.

If you ever feel really low do you think you could try giving a hotline a try? I know I called a hotline once or twice before and it was really helpful. It might help you as well. The people are really nice and they want to see you be okay.

I will give you the link:

Lastly, if you ever think you are going to harm yourself please call the local ER or your nearest authorities so that they can help you get better and stay safe.

Hang in there,

Jenna
