Unhappy Ugh - November 4th 2009, 03:40 AM

I'm so depressed anymore. No matter what I do I just can't be happy. People in my family can't get along, I'm failing trig and may not be able to do speech this year, and it's my senior year. No one loves me; for some reason I can't win the game of love and am nursing a broken heart. I went back to my bulimic ways and you know what? I'm not gonna stop until someone can say, "Barbara I love you exactly the way you are!" I don't care if I'm sickly skinny by that point the physical pain will be worth the emotional happyness.

Hey Barbara,

I am really sorry that you are going through this. But you shouldn't have to go back down the bulmic route to get people to tell you they love you. People should love you for the person you are not what you look like, and if they don't then that is there problem. Eating disorders are horrible things and I don't think they are really a route you want to take. It causes so many physical problems as well as the emotional side to it all. I know it must be hard when you don't feel loved but doing this to feel loved is not really a good idea. Perhaps you just need to sit down with your family and explain to them how you are feeling. I think if they knew you were feeling like this then they would want to support you to make you feel loved the way you are. You don't deserve this; you deserve loads better Barbara.

I am always happy to listen if you ever need to talk. Stay strong.

It is ok. People are here for you. I am so sorry that you feel that way. There are people out there that like you the way you are .

I wish I knew who those people are Question: Should my heart be physically hurting like this? I know it's from the vomiting, but like I said, the physical pain will all be worth it in the end.
