Sorry for everything I say being a country/folk/rap quote, just the way I am I guess. I love the genres everyone else hates.

I tell myself the things I feel aren't real, that I'm strong, that I'll go it alone, grab the world by the balls so to speak. But it's a lie. I'm fucking sick of having no one to come home to, no one to love, no one to be there for through good times and bad (and cliche land). And I just don't see any happiness in my future. My friends will leave, my parents will die, and I'll be stuck with some shitty job -- it's a miasma worse than the mess our country's in. And I'll be alone, just like that guy on the street corner. She's not out there, and if she is, she sure doesn't give two shits about me.

Maybe I should turn to a life of crime. It's not like anyone recognizes my legitimate achievements or my worth as a person. Maybe they won't notice if I sell dope or kill businessmen for hire.

The world is filled with different people, and personality types. However there are personalities which is a minority, and gets pushed outside normality.

Eventually you will lean against the wall on the streets, watching a couples laughing and enjoying themselves. You will hate them, because it's their fault we get left out. You will grow old, and hate everybody else. It's a matter of hating, or being hated. Want to get ahead of your lonelyness? Get hated, and you'll eventually be like those happy couples.

Is this the right way? Is it worth it? I plan to get away from everyone, to travel on foot living on the land. You can sneak into a boat, or a bus. You can rob people for money for food. That way you do not have to be depending on anybody else, just yourself, and it is just you.

You'll have two choices. To be someone else, or to be yourself even more.

i'm sorry you feel this way ghost. i wish there was something i could do to make you feel better. all i can say is we can wish to change things but until we get out there and actually do it, nothing is going to change.
