How Do You Get Him To Stop? -
June 27th 2009, 05:15 AM
I might have posted this problem a month ago, but no one helped. ><
Anyway. Our Dachshund, Rusty, has felt the need to be the Alpha dog around our house. For the past year, he has peed everywhere! It's bothering me so much. >< He never did this until we got our girl dog (Who is spayed). We've scolded him for it, but it didn't work so we just stopped. He just got neutered a few days ago (We were hoping that it might help, but he also needed to get neutered because he's getting old and it'll just be a health problem for him later) but he's still peed at least twice in the house (To our knowledge) Do you guys know anyway that we might be able to get him to stop peeing in the house? ![]() ![]() |

There is spray for this...look at your local petstore. That much I do know...training (which takes longer and can be a pain) and negative reinforcement is always an option.
Live and let live. |

Ugh. We could probably try the spray. Thing is that he never peed in the house until we got Rei Rei. I guess he feels like he needs to dominate the whole house.
It took him two years to figure out that he wasn't supposed to pee in the house when he was a puppy. When we scold him now he gets mad, more than anything. ![]() ![]() |
