Smile any bunny owners here? - September 6th 2009, 12:12 AM

so i got bunnies from the shelter the other day. theyre names are M&M and Peanut. they were a "bonded couple" so they had to be sold together (how adorable is that?)
i was just wondering if there was anything i needed to know to be an amazying bunny owner.
any advice or comments or anything?

p.s. i really want to post a pic with it so you can see how cute they are but i cant figure out how......

I have a bunny,well technically it's my sister but I take care
of it while she away on a trip.Just make sure it's in good care, have it's
fresh water and feed it everyday and if you want to get a cage for it,
I would choose a cage with flat bottom, not wire and every once in awhile
just have it run around the house,it likes that, also have it warm and dry and
really just keep an eye on it and remember they're sensitive, they like
being petted AND do not give it a bath because they clean themselves
i think 5 times a day so that all i know pretty much and good luck!! :}

There is only one person who could ever
make you happy, and that person is you.

I don't have a bunny, although I would like to sometime in the future! Right now I just don't have the space or time to commit to such a pet.
They are quite adorable indeed. :) Glad to meet a bunny owner! x

Hmmmm, seeing that my user name is FunnyBunny it would make sense that I have one. But logic doesn't seem to exist in my life. So, no bunny for me. But I think at one point in my life I did have a hedgehog. I think.

I'm a bunny owner. Basically Lea's tips were really good.
I'm just going to add that if you let the rabbits run around the house you need to make sure all wires are out of reach. And if you don't want little rabbit babies; you need to get both rabbits neutered/spayed. It prevents bowel cancer as well as preventing them from having babies so it's useful to do that

& it's just like she's in another world.

I have a rabbit! I love my rabbit. You can feed them carrots, lettuce, celery, brocoli, apple, and banana as treats. My rabbit likes carrats and banana the best though. They also like to play with cardboard and and I make mine little houses to play in. Let me know how they are doing and how it goes!

I have 3 bunnies. I have 1 really grumpy lionhead. and 2 lop ears which are brother and sister, so cannot live in the same hutch. Anyways they love their food, greens, but not too much incase they get funny belly... and they lvoe their cuddles. i think its really cute that they had to be sold together, and im glad you managed to give them both a loving home I will check with mom if there is anything else you might need

Oh my gosh!!!! Peanut and M&M... those names are too adorable for words <3
My advice for your bunnies, be sure to not let them out of a cage or enclosed area. My friends bunnies ran away
