[Spontaneous Smile]

Most all pet owners have a few funny tales about their pets. So go ahead and share your's.

Actually just two weeks ago I took my ferret, Rhody, up to the city to get his distemper shot. We took him to an exotic animal doctor, who was pretty nice and happy.

He picked up Rhody by the scruff of his neck- which totally intoxicated him. And almost as soon as he did that, Rhody poops and pees all over the place. I laughed on and off for 30 minutes afterward.

Well i have 2 dogs who live outside and they are the cutest dogs ever... they love playing with each other..it's not really a funny story but i think it's cute

My horse LOVES food.
This is okay, but it's a pain in the butt to have to keep him standing still when we're near grass. If he's moving then he's fine, but the moment I make him stand and there's any grass near, he will drag me towards the grass.

Well, my riding instructor is very adamant that when we go away to competitions the horses do NOT eat the grass, because that's how diseases can spread amongst animals.

Unfortunately for me, Loki has developed this new technique of getting what he wants. It kind of resembles a temper tantrum that a five year old may have in a toy store if they don't get what they want.

He'll go down to eat grass, I'll try and pull his head up, and suddenly he'll just PLOP over and lay down. Picture 1200 lbs just flopping over like that, with me on the other end of the lead trying to pull him up.

Picture him doing this RIGHT BEHIND my instructor at a competition while she was watching another rider in the ring.

Now, picture me trying to discreetly get a 1200 pound animal up off the ground(he was munching away quite happily at the grass) with everyone pointing and laughing at us.

And now, picture my riding instructor's wrath. Not a pretty sight.

A few years back, my dog penny had taught herself how to be a sneak and eat things off the coffee table, we found this out in a very funny way. One day my mom had just finished doing some house chores, she decided to have a few (two) of the chocolate chip cookies she got at the store(or the ones she made i really cant remember that part)cookies so she got some chocolate chip cookies and put them on a napkin and she set them down on our coffee table and went upstairs to go to the bathroom or get a book(i cant remember) and when she came back downstairs she sat down on the couch and looks down at her napkin to see her cookies MISSING! and the napkin was WET! penny had snuck up after my mom had gone upstairs and penny gobbled up my moms cookies! it was so funny. there was another time quiet a few years back when my brother nick my mom my dad and myself were all sitting in the family room watchin tv, now nick had some oreos and a glass of milk, penny comes over and literally starts slurping up nicks milk! i'm not kidding, she drank almost the entire glass of milk, and after she was finished, she turned around, circled and then plopped down next to my dad, and pretended to look innocent, lucky for us (and penny herself) she didnt get sick from the milk, my dog penny used to be quiet a character, she still is a little bit, she will bark with me, if i bark twice a few times she'll understand what i want her to do(she copies my "bark") penny is very old and has arthritis in her hip, and is going blind and is almost completlyy deaf, thankfully we have medication for her that eases the pain, penny still has spunk, she always will, she just has senior dog spunk now.

My dog will only fall asleep in my bed, which he gradually pushes me out of. I then have to pick him up half asleep and put him on his bed

We once bought these rubber tips to put over the dog's nails so he wont scratch. We ordered clear, but we got red. So, my poor dog had to have red nails for months! Poor little boy. haha.

I have more stories, but I am too lazy to share them.

I was once just changing my gecko's water. I was wearing a fairly loose t-shirt, and hence there was a bit hanging down at the arm, and I had half my upper arm inside her vivarium (wooden tank, glass sliding doors).
I hadn't seen she was right under the doors and decides to make a break for it by scampering up my sleeve and running right across my underarms and sides and anywhere vaguely ticklish until she settles in the middle of my back, just where she knows I can't reach her.

I kind of had to leave her there until she got bored, since I couldn't blindly reach back, since I didn't want to risk grabbing her tail and have it fall off >.>.

I have many funny pet stories. I won't bore you will all of them :P Anyway, last Christmas, the bunnies decided to join in the present unwrappings. Padme (the rabbit) is quite a spunky little girl, and she's not stupid. A present that had just been opened was something with pages of instructions. She grabbed the instructions and ran off around the room with them. It was quite a sight! A little bunny running off with a huge sheet of instructions, and my dad, a big, tall bloke running after her trying to get them back. She was binkying all over (sort of like bunny laughing, or an expression of happiness) and only gave up the instructions after doing several laps of the room.

Our dog Rei Rei is a little booger. She's got such an attitude.

Every night before my Mom closes the doggy-door, she comes into the living room and tells the dogs, "Okay guys, bedtime!" which is their indication that if they need to go, then they need to do it now. Rei Rei looks up at her and lets out this huge sigh and growls a little. Lol!

There was another time when I was folding the laundry and I heard the sound of water behind me. Rei Rei had her nose in the water bowl, blowing bubbles. X)

My dog, is a Newfoundlander.. and he is very hairy, and the hair is by the pads of his paws.. One morning, my dad was going to let him out, and he went barrelling down the hallway, missed the turn and slid right off the step into the couch.. OMG it was soo funny xD

I looooove when cats do something ungraceful by accident....I think it's so funny because they love to look so cool and composed all the time.. a few years ago my granny's cat was lying on the ironing board. She rolled over a little and went in for this really long luxurious stretch...until she lost her balance and fell off the ironing board...she looked so embarrassed..hahah!!
