i do not know, maybe it would be worth a quick trip to the vets. the only thing i can think of is that your goldfish may be getting old and is turning grey due to old age. but i think a trip to vets might be best, i could be a number of things, vitamin deffincey, maybe. i dont know im just making a couple of wild guesses. the vet is your best choice.

I used to have some gold fish that turned silver, but that did happen when we put them in a tropical fish tank (I know you're not supposed to do that but oh well) So I'd guess it was either the heat or filter that caused them to turn silver. Perhaps a quick google search could help?

My lil fishy was gold and now he is half black:0, fishtank man said sometimes they go to black and they can either go back to the colour they were or change completely different colour's.
I'd suggest going to the place you bought it and asking some advice, or posting in a fish forum site, i found one on google sometime ago but can't remeber it, but i just google fish help forum. |

Two questions; What size if your current fishtank, and how much surface area does the water have. Also, is it filtered? If not, how often is the water changed and what temperature is the water?
Also, is it silver or is it more of an olive-y colour? ![]() "My one desire is for peace -- peace for everyone" |
