I want a mini wiener dog, they're so cute

I once had a crossbreed between a Dachshund and a chihuahua,he was a great dog, he helped me hunt a stray snake once.

One of my best friends has one of those. He's adorable...when he's not peeing on everything in sight.

My friend has Golden Retriever and an all tan dashound >> They're a RIGHT pair
 I do like them, although for me personally, I prefer slightly bigger dogs And just because you can't have one now, doesn't mean you can't have one in the future

I had a dachsund once. She was a fantastic dog. They like to run around a lot so would either need a big yard or a lot of walking time. The one thing I didn't like about my dachsund is given the chance she would run (which led to her running away
 ). They are very friendly dogs and if handled correctly will be great with all people. I think they tend to be kind of territorial (mine was) but there were so many new faces around that she had to learn to be nice. You know, if you really want a dog look into the breed of your choice and do as much research as possible so when you are able/wanting one you will know all their is and be a better dog owner. Personally, I would suggest adopting from a shelter. I actually went in there and saw two dachsunds. I seriously would have got the pair of them if I had the money.
