HELP! -

So, I recently got a Betta fish, Herbie, and he won't eat his food!!! I don't have a plant or anything it could be eating... Why won't it eat?!?! I got the flaky kind of food and I tried some pellets. But it won't eat anything!!! Why?!

Do you have actual "Beta" food and not just "fish" food?
Here is a link I think will be helpful. It goes through different reasons your beta may not be eating. Are you sure he isn't eating? I know my betas wouldn't eat if I was in the room, but as soon as I was gone they would chow down. I know this because I never found any crud on the bottom of the tanks, so they obviously had to have eaten it! So you have gray hair and you're only 26
