Exclamation Advice, someone to talk to - September 28th 2012, 10:25 PM

ive broken up with my boyfriend who ive been with 7 months, its not that kinda of lame story, he saved me from my depression and self harm before we started going out and in that period of time i cut once, we broke up wednesday as i didnt think it could work, biggest mistake of my life and i cant deal with it anymore, everything getting on top of me with college, him and family and tonight ive completely screwed the top of my legs up, i need help and im scared ill go back to what i was before him, i was so close to just leaving my life 7 months ago

It's never too late for a fresh start, my dear. Make it through the next few days as best as you can. Whats done is done, you cannot change that. You just have to pick yourself up and try and move forwards. One step at a time. All of us are here for you.

I have recently gone through a similar situation. Just like Cullen said, a fresh start is good. Just keep moving forward, day by day. If you need help or just someone to talk to feel free to send me a pm. Things will get better.

Hey there.
First of all, I want to say congratulations on going all that time without cutting other than one slip up. I'm very proud of you, and you should be happy about it too. That takes a lot of effort. Also, it was great that you came and posted here asking for help. That's a positive step. If you want to beat this thing, it'll take a lot of effort, but it will be worth it in the end. You can try some Alternatives to distract yourself when the urges come. I will warn you ahead of time that they won't all work for you. You'll just have to keep trying until you find some that do. I have faith in you that you can beat this. If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to message me anytime.
