I'm worried about infection? - September 10th 2013, 03:44 AM

I cut, and I felt like I couldn't wait so I didn't bother cleaning my blade first like usual. I also remembered I didn't clean it after the last time I used it. I wasn't really thinking. There's about 60 or so cuts on my thigh now, not very deep at all, but I'm worried about them getting infected. How do I properly take care of them to make sure that doesn't happen?

hey there I'm sorry you felt the need to harm, i hope you feel better

i always use antiseptic cream on the wounds when I've calmed down, and then every morning and night until they start to heal

Hi there, you can look here for first aid information. Make sure to take good care of your wounds, if you worried or think they may be infected its best to seek medical advice as soon as possible.

Make sure you take good care of your wounds. It's best to keep them covered during the say with a bandage - if possible. But since they're on your thigh, it might be easier to just put cream on them at night and let them breathe during the day. If you can keep them covered at night, do so. I hope they don't get infected.
