Ive cut alot recently. Im not proud of it but its happened and i cant change it now. My problem is my legal team want me to wear a short sleeved top next week when i go to court to give my evidence. They havent said it right out to me but i no its because of my hands obv. They want the jury to feel sorry for me. The scars on my hands were pretty bad when my physc sent them the last report. But now there fresh and alot worse. The only person who knows about them is my gp, she stitched them so i wouldnt have to go to a/e. I no if i try and explain why i dont want to wear a short top they will want me to do it anyway. I dont want the jury to feel sorry for me. But most of all i dont want anyone to see my hands the way they are now. I dont no what to do
But so many people are looking to me to be strong and to fight but i'm just surviving and I may be weak but I'm never defeated and I'll keep believing in clouds with that sweet silver lining |

 Hope your having a great day  Im not really experinced in SH so i cant give a profesional opinion xD but i think YOURE ABSOULTY RIGHT! you shouldnt show your arms to make the jury feel sorry for you but i do think maybe you should explain that to the leagal team.REMEMBER they have no control over you THEYRE YOUR TEAM, they cant force you to wear anything so id just tell them no, you dont have to explain why but they cant force you either way so. JUST SAY NO!  Hope i helped xD (i prolly didnt  )xx

you need to stand up for what would be helpful to you. maybe you can have your gp help you talk to them. sometimes it's helpful to have another person there to back you up. try really explaining to them how it would feel for you if they made you do something like that.
they need to realize that it's not fair to use you like that. try to stay strong, and keep fighting against the urges. pm me any time |
