How do you cover your scars?

I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, but I need help. I'm trying to not cut, but I'm still covered in scars, especially with my arms and stomach. So, I need ways to cover my scars, especially on my arms because I cut certain words in there that if certain people saw, I would be in a lot of trouble. I've been wearing long sleeves, but it's summer and people are starting to ask why I only ever wear sweaters or hoodies when it's so hot out. Today, I put band-aids on to cover it, but that kind of drew attention to it, because I had to put around 5 billion on my arms. So, how do you all cover your scars without using long sleeves?

Well, I've known people who have used armwarmers, or fishnet. Both items come in various colours. One girl on here mentioned gauze-style shirts, which are long-sleeved, but light and comfy. There are a few threads about this around.

I'm not sure how many scars you have exactly, but I only ever cut on my wrists and I used lots of bangles or big chunky bracelets to cover them up. You might also want to look into vitamin E cream which can help scars fade.

I wore a lot of light long sleeve t-shirts. Or if I was asked about why I was wearing big jumpers and stuff I'd just say I'm cold!

I don't bother much about it anymore. The only time I wear long sleeves now is for about a week or two after I've harmed. You'd be amazed at how quickly the sunshine heals scars!

the Ideas above are great:
-Cotton long sleeves
- Foundation
- Bracelets
- Arm Warms
- Scar fade cream

All are fabulous ideas that you can look into. I think the best suggestion would to be to use the foundation. Personally I have bad scars on my thigh and I can't wear shorts, so when I do, I find that foundation is the best thing to use.

I could have sworn there use to be a sticky on this, but I suppose not because I just looked. Anyways, I can understand how much this concerns you, so look into all of the options above.

I covered some with tattoos, but some that cant be tattooed, I usually wear a light long sleep top to cover my arm scars that cant be tattooed or long short/trousers to cover the scars on my legs.
