wow! 8 days! that's pretty impressive (:
I wish there was something I could say that could be helpful, but I can only tell you I can relate. My parents have caught me soooo many times. The thought I quit about 2 months ago... surprise, surprise- I haven't.

Have you tried using some methods of distraction to help with your SI? Maybe music, writing, exercise or something like that would be helpful. Something that soothes me sometimes is drawing on myself with red marker what I want to do to myself.

I hope you're doing alright!

Would you ask me to change?

Now we're dancing for rain
We drink the air
But it's still not the same
These worlds collide
Yet the distance remains
We point the finger
Never accept the blame"

Hey Renee,

Firstly, I wanted to say 8 days is really good! You have to remember that everyday you go without self harm is that one step closer to stopping! I Know it might only seem like little steps but you just have to take little steps to achieve your goal of stopping.

It is good that you found drawing on yourself helpful. Perhaps you should try out a few more of the distractions to see if you can find anything else helpful. With some of these distractions you have to try them a number of times before they actually help.

Things will be ok in the end. Stay strong.
