How do u know if the scars will last? -

So I'm wondering how long the scars will last? How bad is bad enough to be a permanent scar? How can you tell if they will go away?

1. A Few Years-Permanent. Sometimes, they just fade to the point where it's barely noticable.
2. It would probably have to have been a cut that was either really deep, or alot of pressure was used when you cut. Cause, some of my scars weren't even that deep when I cut and I have a hugeee scar that looks like it was pretty deep, when it wasn't. 3. They go away eventually. Usually the ones that need stitches or are really deep probably won't go away or will take longer. -EVERYTHING happens for a reason. There's nothing you can do to change it. It's just your fate. Whether it be stupid or not... It's your life. The way you handle it is the only control you have...

Hey there,
Eventually most scars will start to fade and sometimes become very hard to noticed. The only times they're like to stay forever is if the cut was really deep and stitches were needed. Using things such as bio oil will help the scars to fade, but eventually they should start to fade in their own. I hope this helped, take care, Charli Charli <3

I have scars from 12 years ago. They have faded but they are still there. If you are worried about scarring, perhaps using some bio-oil if you can afford it would be good?
