Heal Me? - March 16th 2012, 02:07 PM

This thread has been labeled as triggering by the original poster or by a Moderator. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

Hey, Recently I've been selfharm free for quite a while...but I couldn't cope with the stress of the Sexual Assault and things...which resulted in some selfharming, I cut my wrists and legs a few times. It's not really that deep but its still there.
Was just wondering if you guys know how to help heal it quicker because it's getting in the way of my life now...like teacher's are seeing it but not saying anything. And I really gotta try to hide it.

I heard that anything with cocoa butter helps to heal the skin faster.

Hey there,

I'm really sorry things are hard for you at the moment. I thinks it's harder to make cuts heal faster as it does it in it's own time, but just keep it clean, make sure you pick it or do anything that can re open it.
Amber suggested cocoa butter but i thought that was to help scars fade but i may be wrong, it may do both so you can look into it.

Feel free to PM me if you ever want/need to talk,
Take care,
Charli
