Chewing Habit - January 19th 2016, 04:00 AM

I have a really bad addiction for chewing on things like My nails, Bottle caps and Pens. I have tried Chewing gum and it helps but I go through a pack of gum in like 1-2 days. Does anyone have any advice how I can stop these chewing habits?

I also have a habit of chewing things. For me it's more linked to asd and sensory processing problems, but what I've found is I can't stop. If I take away the things that I chew, then I chew my fingers or my clothes. My solution was to buy a chewable necklace that's actually designed to be chewed. It's discreet because it just looks like a pendant but then I can chew it safely. However, if your goal is to stop chewing altogether someone else will have to give you some tips, I haven't solved the problem in myself!
