am i a sex addict?

i think i might be a sex addict. Of course i googled the subject and i'm not sure...
it said that sex addicts have sex all the time and are sexual predators... but i don't do that...

i mean, i want to have sex, but i restrain myself because i know all the problems that can occur. besides im a relationship kind of girl. oh, I am still a virgin, but i want to have sex.

well, let me get to the point. I masturbate.... a lot. Everyday. Sometimes twice. I'm constantly horny. I have fantasies all the time. I search for porn and have recently restrained myself because i keep getting viruses on my computer. I just don't know if this is normal. I've heard of guys having huge sex drives but I've never heard of girls with this kind of problem. Am I a sex addict? Should I find help?

I know it may seem like it, but really lots of people do it.
Just because you masturbate more than others hardly makes you a sex addict.
Its totally normal.

You have never heard of girls with this "problem" because in society girls generally keep quiet about their bodies and feelings. It's more acceptable to talk about men having a strong sense of sexuality but not women, go figure?
You're 17 which means your hormones are at full throttle and of course you want sexual stimulation. You are normal. Girls think about sex just as much as guys do
My advice to you is to know that what you're going through is normal and don't stress yourself or think bad upon yourself because you want sex. Perhaps find safer porn websites to for the benefit of your comp:P
Also remember sex is a very emotional thing beyond the physical aspect. So don't rush into anything just for the physical benefit. As corny as it sounds, it's true, that sex is an intimate event where you give a part of yourself to someone else that you can't take back.

I'm also the same! I've also considered myself a sex addict before but I'm a virgin so it didn't made quite sense. I guess a masturbator addict is more appropriate. ^^;; It's perfectly normal (unless your health is affected), you just have a strong sex drive. If you're conscious about the consequences a sex toy will do. Make sure to pick something that fits you, something that will give you full satisfaction.

But seriously when you first time experience the real thing, you will realize that you're not at all a sex addict. I'm still a virgin and even though I know all about it, the thought of doing it with my first man still makes me nervous. Hahaha

What you're experiencing is perfectly natural. I think that everyone goes through a phase of they just want to have sex with everything. Yes, guys typically have raging hormones younger than women do, BUT everyone grows up differently and just because you're going through that sexual phase doesn't mean your a sex addict. For one, I think you have to have sex...A LOT. Masturbation is just masturbation to me. It feels great, and it secretes endorphins in your body that makes you feel good. Masturbate as much as you want. Enjoy yourself. It'll slow down eventually as you grow older...so don't worry about it.

Your not a sex addict your hormones are just strong at your age. There’s nothing wrong with masturbation so long as you don’t like it take you over. You’ve just got to learn to control yourself and refrain from those feelings if you feel they are taking control of you I strongly suggest making a limit on how many times a week you can masturbate, and each week take away one time, till you get rather low.

Also don’t be fooled a lot of young women have a lager sexual appetite they just are good at hiding it. Guys are more bold when it come to sexual things, guys have an easier time showing those kind of feeling vs. a girl showing it.

One thing however once you find the guy you like and your ready to have sex be sure that a condom is warn properly and other safety measures have been taken. Also by engaging in sex you are taking the responsibility for anything that make happen, good or bad.

So keep that in mind before you take that step also, don’t rush in to anything TRUST ME!

You have a healthy sex drive, that's all. As long as you're responsible about it, it can be a great thing. Girls can have powerful sex drives every bit as much as guys, it's just a more socially taboo subject.
