I peel ths skin off my fingers. {Edited out graphic description} I've done this my whole life! I used to peel my wallpaper off when I was still in my crib, and to this day peel or pick at anything I can. I LOVE it. I don't wanna stop ever. Sometimes its very painful tho. I do this when I'm bored, during school constantly, when I'm stressed, also whenever my hands are free.
I rip my nails off. I LOVE poping zits and blisters...I wish I had more sometime. I also pull out my eyelashes. I also peel every scab off and lick off the blood. I have to put bandaids on so I can't. I can work on the same scab for months. I pop my joints all the time, in my feet, neck, hands, and back. I'm just wondering whoelse does this, cause I'm realizing I'm not alone!! |

I have a tendency to pull out my eyelashes, or like pick at them, then my eyelids get all irratated. so chaa.
I use to pick at scabs but not so much anymore.

My thumb takes a beating from my teeth, I bite it mainly when I'm bored. I also bite the inside if my mouth, i once got down to a nerve and left a big hole in there, now if I touch it with my tounge it sends spasms through my mouth. Gah. Only when I'm bored.

If im ever nervous/upsted/unhappy at all, i dont bite my nails, i bite the skin off my fingers :/ gross, ik, but i cant stop. it dosnt hurt, but i cant stand the skin around my nails, so i bite it off. then it grows back thiker and bugs me more. its a never ending cycle. its that or pull out my eyelashes and i like them, so fingers it is. and i chew my thumb.

when i was little and fell over a lot i use to love picking my scabs, but never have any anymore so dont get the chance, its wierd how people like things like that! :L
I often grind my teeth or keep my mouth very tense if im stressed or worried or anxious, or just thinking i often don't notice lol. |

Yea I pick my my skin- pop any little zit or blackhead to the point that my skin is red at patchy. And i pick at my nails to the point that my cuticles bleed. I dont do it as a way to hurt myself, its just a nervous habit, and the zit thing is just a problem I have with my apperance

I do more than one of those - so I havent voted.
I'm always peeling skin away from my fingers - I think I do it when I'm nervous. I pick scabs all the time! Same with ripping of nails - I hate using scissors. I'm still alive.

I pick at my cuticles, sometimes until they bleed. So I've started wearing hair ties around my wrists to play with instead. For some reason, my fingers always need to be occupied. I'm not sure why.

i used to bite my nails but i don't anymore. i have a bad habit of tugging on my eyelashes though, especially when i have mascara on.. it's soo annoying but i don't realise i'm doing it.

i pull my eyelashes and peel the skin sometimes when im nervous. the other thing is like a thing called "scratching".
you aren't the only one. i think its normal for teens to have one (or more) of these addictive habits.i believe it stops when you get a bit older and calm. Not that I'm crazy or anything, I just want some proof that death isn't the end. Not that I'm desperate, but I want to know I'll meet you someday. I pick at my skin ALL THE TIME and peel it off.

I bite my nails and peel the skin of my fingers. I think it is just when i'm nervous or stress or something. I also tend to find if i have a bottle of coke or something similar i always no matter what peel the label off. I don't know why..

I've noticed if you're the kind of person that picks at skin or likes to mess with things, it's helpful to just keep something you can play with nearby. Sometimes I put hair ties on my wrists that I can pick at and play with, and for people who need to chew on things, gum always works. I've also found that peeling the wood off of posicle sticks is really helpful, though quite messy.

I tend to pick at my nails and peel them. I'm better at not doing that lately as long as I have nail polish on. That way I pick at the nail polish instead. I peel the skin as well.
I also pull at my eye lashes, but mosty just to see if there are any loose ones. I hate when they get in my eyes. I've peeled at scabs before, but usually when I'm bored in class. Lastly, I also pop my joints. I pop my toes/fingers, arms, knees (barely), ankles, neck, and back. I hate poping my back in class though cause it sounds so loud..but I can't help it sometimes. Love is life, and if you miss out on love, you miss out on life. <3

Not really. I haven't cut my fingernails in 10 years because I bite them short, and I pick at scabs all the time, but I don't do the other stuff.
