We all know that support is invaluable and extremely helpful when healing after abuse.. that being said, how many of you have at least one person you trust or feel comfortable talking to about rape or abuse? And do you find your support is mostly online or in real-life, or a mix?

My support is mostly online... I tried to get real life support and the people who I told basically told me to get lost... I have 1 friend in real life that is support and a few online who I can tell anything.

i recently told my friend, about what goes on at home, i was expecting them to brush it off like everyone else who ive told offline, but they didnt they even told me i can talk to them whenever i want! but most of the time i mainly talk about my dad and my family on this site.

My support is a mix of people online and people in real life.
I am very thankful for all of them. I don't know where I'd be now if it wasn't for their compassion.

My support is mostly online but I also have my therapist and that helps immensely. While the support I get online is invaluable, being able to talk to others who can understand what I am going through and such, the support I get from my therapist is really helpful as well. It is soooooo helpful to see someone get mad for me, not be afraid to talk about what happened etc.

Mostly online, but I have a few friends, a teacher and the school counsellor I can talk to aswell.

Honestly the only support I've ever had is from TH and people online. Which is really sad because I have a huge family - lots of aunts/uncles/cousins.

My support is a combinaton of real life and on-line. I would say 60/40.

I have a therapist. I had a best friend, but she moved. I mostly just write my feelings down on here. It is probably the most honest I am with anyone, including myself.

I have a 'real life' friend who I can talk to, however I'm mostly drunk when I do talk to him xD

I have a mixture of people that I can talk to. I get help online, but also applied for counselling for it and I see the lady once a week.

none lol ppl here arent too helpful they dont really answer the things i post here and online i always end up helping them ...in person is too hard to ask ppl otherwise y would i put my problems here? lol i mean i mostly try to help the others here but....i sort of wish i could get some advice back or something...
