zoning out - November 9th 2012, 07:02 AM

do you ever have those moments throughout the day and/or night where you zone out and feel a collection of emotions and tiredness? then you catch yourself and you just feel sad for no reason..

Yes, I do. I know what that's like. Rather, used to. When I had depression, it was really bad and I always felt like that.

Hi, Bella. :3 I'm Kayla. How are you today?

So dance if it moves you,
and jump in the fire, if it burns you.
I'll throw my arms around you darlin',
and we'll turn to ashes.

Kinda like the way you tell me,
"Baby, please come home. I need you here right now.
I'm crying underwater so you don't hear the sound."

What if I can't forget you?
I'll burn your name into my throat.
I'll be the fire that'll catch you.
What's so good about picking up the pieces?

I've had this. Maybe it will be worth you trying to talk half an hour out of each day for yourself? In that time do something nice that you enjoy doing. That could be something like having a nice bubble bath with candles, getting in to pjs with a hot choccy and watching a film, meeting a friend, sitting with a pet, doing your nails, going for a walk/run, reading a book, baking, absolutely anything. Just something so that you have something nice in each day.

Is there is anything bothering you, know that we're here for you and that you are more than welcome to talk to us. We'll always listen to you and we'll try our best to help and support you through what ever it is you are going through.

Keep your head up,

"Only in the dark, can you see the stars..."

Yes I zone out from time to time, I usually find I do it more when I've not had a-lot of sleep, and will usually find myself zoning out at work when things get to much. I find blogging helps me.

Re: zoning out - November 10th 2012, 06:38 PM

I get that a lot, actually. I'll be doing something, or thinking about something else, or sometimes sitting in class at school, and I'll just zone out and become lost in all these depressing, anxious thoughts. Then I'll realize that I zoned out and "snap out of it," and suddenly feel really depressed. It sucks, right? But I totally get it.
