Introverts and being away from people (article) - January 18th 2015, 11:24 PM

Hi all!

I hope everyone is well and that TH is serving to help you when and where you need it

I found this amazing, short, article called "Introverts Explained: Why We Love You But Need To Get Away From You" by Brenda Knowles.

For all the introverts out there, you know that quiet and alone time is vital to recharge your batteries. This article goes a step further in helping you help your loved ones understand why that has to happen.

I'm having troubles with my extroverted boyfriend right now. He went to speak to me today and I was quiet and told him that I needed to be alone. I didn't know a polite enough way to say it and he got mad anyway. This article made me feel better because it's true that I need to be away from him because he wears me out, yet I still love him.

Hopefully this little article can help you too, and just make you think of how you can help your loved ones understand

I'm going to print that out and leave several copies laying around the house. It'll be nice to know that my family understands that I retreat into my room not to "hide" as they say, but to recharge my batteries and gather my thoughts. The challenges of having an extroverted family
