I can't tell you what will happen if you tell your doctor about your intrusive thoughts; but I do know you should before anything happens. We are not supposed to diagnose on here, but I can tell you it sounds like there's something going on either emotionally or psychologically. I would reach out to your appropriate support team and ask for help.

There's nothing to be ashamed of. You are taking positive action before anything negative happens.

Hey there,

How are you feeling now?

As said above, we can't diagnose or really say what might or might not happen here as we aren't professionals.

That said, I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with intrusive thoughts around harming loved ones and hearing negative voices in your mind. That must be very scary and upsetting to deal with.

Have you told your doctor these things? Doctors might react in a variety of ways, but if you do get sectioned, try not to think badly of it. I can imagine the thought of being sectioned might seem a bit scary, but it would also be keeping you safe where you can get the treatment you need. You might not get sectioned, but it's still important to be honest with your doctor- you don't have to suffer from these thoughts and voices as there are medications and therapies that can help.

Take care and feel free to update us if you'd like
