hi(:
so... this has been going on ever since... third grade? probably more like fourth... anyways it's been like six years since it started. it's sort of complicated so bear with me. i can't go to sleep until AT LEAST 1 am. i have tried to do it before then, but it's just impossible for me to falls asleep before then. i lie in bed for hours fidgeting with my hands literally clawing at my knuckles because no matter how tired i am achieving sleep before then is impossible. so i have learned to just not try. also, i have to go to sleep on the hour. i dont mean fall asleep i mean go to sleep. it has to be exactly 2am or 3am when i turn my light out and start goin to sleep... i think this is just weird. i wake up countless times during the very few hours of rest i get and have to drink coffee like crazy so i dont fall asleep during the day. i never feel refreshed after waking up... |

Have you talked to your family doctor? This doesn't sound like insomnia, but a more mild form (I forgot the name for it). Either way, your doctor could help you figure out productive ways to sleep.
Try asking about Valerian Root. Considering that it's a natural sleep aid, your doctor might be perfectly fine with you trying that instead of a pharmaceutical, chemical-based sleep aid.
