Hey Bree,

I think it's great that you're wanting to improve your diet for your health. My advice? You're not a doctor. Your disordered thoughts are not a doctor. You need to see somebody who specializes in nutrition, not just using a silly BMI calculator, to estimate how much you need to eat and what is best for your diet.

Next, are you going vegetarian for the right reasons? It doesn't seem like you are. Vegetarians don't just eat salads, and by that comment, it seems like you're doing this as a way of restriction. Vegetarians eat LOTS of different foods, roasted vegetables, tofu, beans, even fried foods. So vegetarians who just eat salads are usually milking vegetarianism for its restrictions.

I really think you need to talk to somebody. Even if your restrictions are "improving," it's still unhealthy, and you need to allow yourself to lose this control and give it to somebody who knows what's best for you. That's just my opinion though. I hope everything gets figured out.

I think that's a good idea, just starting slow. I hope it works out for you and helps you!

Hey there,

I am so glad to hear that you are going to start eating again. Yes, this is definitely a start and I truly believe that you are on the road to recovery. You should be extremely proud of making this decision.

There are things that you can eat, that are delicious but still keep you healthy and will make you feel good about yourself.

It's so important to be healthy and if you would like me to help you in any way message me, and I will do everything in my power to help. Together we can make you a healthy and happier person.

Are you having a tough day or night? Then do this, place your hand over your heart. Feel that? That's called purpose. You're alive for a reason. Don't give up.
