I think we all do this once and awhile, and I would just tell you not to be ashamed by it! I know I am guilty of this, after a long day at work I always eat something I shouldn't, and then I instantly regret it. My advice to you is to do something that isn't eating that will still give you comfort after a long or stressful day, like watching your favorite TV show or just simply going for a walk. Another thing I do when I want to eat something but know I shouldn't is chew gum or eat a mint. It gives me something to do while not consuming calories, or very little. Hope this helps, and if you ever need anything feel free to PM me

Do you only eat one thing that is unhealthy or do you eat a whole bunch of things more than you would usually eat in one sitting?

If it is just one thing that is unhealthy that is okay. We are all aloud to eat things that are unhealthy. A dietion once told me that it should be 80% of the time healthy food, and the other 20% can be what ever you want.

Now if you are eating a whole bunch of it at one time to the point you feel uncomfortably full, that sounds like binge eating disorder.

But I don't know which you do. The first one isn't and eating disorder at all, its pretty normal, the second one I described could be binge eating disorder which is a eating disorder and if that is the case you should tell your doctor so you can get the right help.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are
