Recovery weight disappearing - June 24th 2017, 05:44 AM

I'm on a trip and have been going lighter on meals. It's only been 3 days and I'm starting to become bony again.

My advice is just to start small. If you can, start with eating 1/4 of your meal, and then go to 1/3, then 1/2, then the full meal. I know it sounds a lot easier than it will actually be, but if you really try then I think you can do it

Hey There,

I am so so sorry that you are going through this rough time with your eating disorder right now.

You say you are on vacation...Is it where somewhere that is hot, or where you need to wear clothes that show more skin? Because if that is the case then that could be the reason on why you are going back to your old habits. You also maybe going to your bad habits because you feel uncomfortable with the weight you were at.

The thing is though that is your eating disorder mind is tricking you into thinking that your weight is not okay and that you need to lose weight. You are perfect just the way you are and you do not need to do this to yourself. I understand that you do not think your are perfect or that you are beautiful, or that you hate yourself. And I know how hard it is to love yourself, but that is a first step in the right direction.

As for what to do. I think if you have a therapist and a nutritionist which I think you do since you said you were in recovery then it would be a good idea to contact them and tell them what is going on. They will probably give you some advice on how to deal with this and over come it.

If you ever need to talk I am here to listen. My Pm/VM is always open.
