Trying to keep food in I eat but its very hard an these days I have to force myself to eat
An when I do eat I feel terrible, guilty,nervous etc
People pushing food at me or asking what I like to eat what do I do????


I'm trying to make a goal to eat two meals an a few snacks a day

Why do you feel guilty when you eat food? Is it because you fear gaining weight? Your goal is a good idea.
If you don't want to eat very much, remind yourself that you need to have strength for the day. Just work on your goal.

If you are medically underweight then you are not 'huge'. That is your unhealthy mind telling you those things. Instead of trying to lose weight try to fight your unhealthy mind. When you feel like you are 'huge' remind yourself this is not true. Remind yourself that food is good for you and you are beautiful the way you are.

Also, you really need to seek medical attention for this. You aren't going to get better on your own. I highly suggest you talk to your therapist about inpatient treatment. That would probably be the greatest gift you could give yourself.

I can't force you to give yourself that gift but it would do you a lot of good. You have to want to help yourself. Posting here shows that you know you have a problem. So try and fix that problem. Continue trying because things can get better. Why don't you let your friends and family help you through this. I have given you suggestions. I am trying to help but you have to be willing to listen to those suggestions and help yourself. You may not believe there is hope but there is. If you cannot see that hope right now that is fine but don't give up. Step aside and let your treatment team and family help you get to a better place. Sometimes we can't help ourselves and we have to let other people help us. You need to let other people help you so you can get better. I understand that everyone wants to make their parents proud of them and everything but sometimes parents do set their standards too high. I think right now you need to do what's best for you, do what makes you happy and be the person that you want to be and not the person your parents want to be because you're the person who has to live with yourself every day.

It's not easy, I choose to be the person that I know won't please everybody but I choose to be this person because it's who I am and it's what makes me most comfortable and most happy. At the end of the day, is it really worth giving up self love for the love of others?

I feel like this all the time. It's generally from lack of food. You should try and be eating something regularly through the day. Whether that be an apple one time and something else snack sized in a few hours. I'm not going to suggest meals yet because you're probably not very appealed to eating a whole meal. But that should be a goal of yours. To eat a full meal a day. And other snacks between that. You should make sure to eat something every day. Things get serious when you start to feel the effects of starvation. I really suggest you seek help before letting it become more serious. It's not worth the constant stress. You can be beautiful and eat too. You can be healthy and eat. You can maintain a weight and eat. It's not about starving. It's not going to get you anywhere good fast. I promise that.

Why do you feel like you need to lose weight? Especially before Wednesday. I know you struggle with your eating disorder, but I know that you know you need to get better. And to get better, you need to eat more not less, to be able to put on more weight to be healthy. Speak to your therapist about this some more and try to work out a plan to get healthy.

You know you shouldn't give up on your recovery and you shouldn't stop your medications. What will happen then? You'll wither away with a wasted life, what's the point in that. Go back and speak to your therapist and tell her about these feelings, you need to continue with your recovery and get better, then your life will be looking up and things will be happier for you.

You know we can not tell you how to lose weight fast, and you also know we will not encourage unhealthy habits. If you are underweight, you do not need to lose weight. Why do you think that losing weight will be beneficial for your weigh-in?

I've spoken to you about this many times. I don't feel you're going to get the help that you appear to need from us at TeenHelp. You need to speak to your therapist about these feelings. Speak to a nutritionist or an eating disorder specialist to work out a plan to get healthy again.

Just because you feel fat doesn't mean you need to lose weight. It means you need to work on why you feel this way and to realize that your views on your body image are distorted. You need to reach out and get help.
