Hey Aleisha
I'm really sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment, I can relate to what your saying, but that doesn't make it okay. As I'm sure you know, your body needs food to survive. If you don't give yourself what you need to function your going to start feeling really poorly which could impact on loads of things! For example you won't be able to get involved with college life which would be really upsetting, your concentration won't be as good as it potentially could be, which could affect your college work and I'd really hate to see happening. Although it's easier to not eat food at college, the easier option isn't always the best. You need to fight your way through this Aleisha. If you don't fight it then your problem will get worse and worse and it will be a lot harder to overcome. Your aware your not eating much and that's great because it means you can do something about it. You could start with slowly increasing your intake to two meals? Then slowly increase the amount that's in each meal? Eat healthy foods that you enjoy to try and reduce the guilt you feel before/during/ after you eat I'm not suggesting you make friends purely so you can be invited out for meals, but I do think making friends would be a really positive thing for you. You'll feel less lonely and it'll take your mind off food and stop it being your primary focus. People who go to college are there to make friends, so they are going to be friendly people. Throw yourself out there, make friends and enjoy college. Don't let food ruin this experience for you. If you ever want a chat or a bit of extra support, please do just get in touch. Take care A dream is a wish that you make with your heart ![]() |

Make yourself a plan to eat..it's going to be harder to resist the urges to SH if your brain doesn't have the proper fuel. Find a club, or just ask someone to study from one of your classes. Anything to get you..out of your head, I guess is the way I'd phrase it. You evidently need some sort of distraction. You can make it through this darling, I promise. Stay strong, and keep going<3
"Everyone says that love hurts, but that's not true. Loneliness hurts. Rejection hurts. Losing someone hurts. Everyone confuses these things with love, but in reality, love is the only thing in this world that covers up all the pain and makes us feel wonderful again."
