How to not be tired all the time? - June 6th 2012, 03:19 AM

I noticed that no matter how much sleep I get I am tired almost all the time.

On school nights, I go to bed anywhere from 10:30-11:30, not saying I fall asleep right away, and then wake around 5:50. On Friday and Saturday nights it is midnight to very late, but I always sleep in the next day. After school unless I am busy I take naps. In school sometimes I am so tired everything just drags. Some of the time on weekends I sleep so late my parents make me get up, and on the weekdays my parents have to wake me from naps to eat or shower.

I have been to the doctor and my iron and such as fine. I had a blood test a few months back and it said I have previously had mono, but at the time of the test I didn't have an active case of it. Is my tiredness mainly because my sleep schedule isn't too regular? What are some things I can do so I can have more energy during the day?

Well I would try working out in the morning, just to get your body going. At first you wont feel like its doing anything, but during the day you will be a lot less tired. Also, if you haven't been eating right that could be the cause of it.

I'd say irregular sleep patterns can cause it, and if you are stressed.
I was very lethargic every day so I took just a simple multivitamin every night and felt better in the morning compared to how I was before.
