Unhappy I swear I am NOT a hypochondriac - September 14th 2012, 10:55 AM

Well, usually after school (I have a small lunch at school, considerably healthy), I am a rampaging monster, going through the fridge and every cabinet for food. Today, I could hear my stomach grumbling but I DIDN'T feel hungry. I swear. So, I didn't eat. It was after 6:30 when I got home again, I still didn't feel hungry, I'd eaten a few lollies at class but that was it. But, I had a bowl of pasta (even though I wasn't hungry, I already worry about my weight and that's all I need my mum getting stuck on me about eating). But, now I just feel ill :/ am I starting to get an eating disorder or am I losing touch of my feelings? feel free to move this if I'm in the wrong section
Also, I haven't smiled even though I feel hungry, not even a goofy grin. My facial features feel stuck.

Oh, and about the kidney problems, I keep having severe pain low on the other side now. Is my entire body just shutting down? I get this weird pain in my chest, headaches, feel sick every morning due to stress :/

Please, can someone tell me if this could be serious? I don't know what to do (oh and ignore the headaches, I just forget to take my meds which causes a buildup of fluid in my brain).

Thanks guys,
Jay.

Hey there,

It sounds like you're going through a hard time at the moment.
I think sometimes when you are ill, you start to get worried about something and it makes you feel worse.
I'm not a doctor and therefore can't diagnose anything. But when you said about you're usually really hungry and suddenly you're not and have pains in your chest and back. Well I have this lately too and I went to the doctors and it turned out to be irratation of my stomach lining, it was basically causing bad indegestion and the pain spreads up your chest and around to your back and I wasn't ever hungry. It's usually caused by something you've eaten.
Although it sounds like you're pretty stressed which could present as all of these symptoms.
It's probably nothing serious but if you are worried I would suggesting seeing your doctors, that way you can get any help that you need and give you peace of mind.

I hope this helps a bit

Hey there,

thanks for writing. I'm afraid to bring it up in front of a doctor because then I might need to be put in surgery of have some other tests, tests that I should not have :/

Jay.

Hi

I don't have a lot to add on to what has already been said but I wanted to say that the majority of people who simply go to see their GP about pain they're having, rarely end up needing surgery. That is something I would not worry about Yes, they may need to do other tests such as blood tests for example, but even that might not be required.

Don't think about it too hard!
Jessie

I have to have a blood test to see how my kidney and liver functions are going on. I told them about the pain I am having and they think it is my kidneys And I may need even MORE meds to help with that :/ or some shit like that.... My body hates me :/

Jay.
