signs i'm out of shape - August 4th 2013, 01:24 AM

The past year or so i've been living a little differently than I used to. I've been spending a lot more times indoors and my eatings been going downhill. i'm starting to worry that it might be turning into a health problem and i'm just wondering, what are some signs i'm out of shape

I'd say the basic one is running out of breath. While my girlfriend was pregnant I gained an extra Edited. and that's the main thing I noticed haha.

"being out of shape" is really a broad term.

Basically, if you are unable to do physical tasks that you where once able too, you are basically out of your normal "shape". (I.E. Not being able to run as long as you used too, being winded doing basic things like climbing stairs, etc.)

Basically, your heart / respiratory muscles aren't used to 'high demanding' tasks anymore. Its easily fixed, first start off with walking a mile or so a day. Then keeping adding on to it. Start jogging and keep adding, then get up too running.

Another trick, to help increase lung capacity to prevent being 'winded'. Is while you are running is to breathe in, hold for a couple seconds. Then exhale quickly. Just remember, if you are going to exercise, stay hydrated and keep breathing! Also remember do not pass your limitations, it takes time, don't over do it!
