Maybe you can leave your toothbrush somewhere you always see, or leave a reminder on your phone?

You can use an alarm on your phone. Or put a sticky note on the bathroom door, so you are forced to see it when you go in.

PM me if you ever wanna talk. Send a message my way.
And remember, you matter. You're awesome. You're beautiful. Stay strong, the world will get better.

My friend had the same issue. She ended up setting an alarm to go off daily around the same time to remind her to brush her teeth. I used to be bad when it came to flossing. The way my dentist helped me remember to floss was to keep in mind to floss the teeth I want to keep. Which makes sense. Brushing is only half of it, you also need to make sure that you're flossing to help keep the bones strong between your teeth.

You can always go see your dentist and have them check the pockets on each of your teeth to see if the bones and gum are still strong.

I did take a dental course in school, so if you have any other questions feel free to ask

I also have a really hard time about brushing my teeth. I try and do it but I just forget or am to lazy to do it. I think a good way to remember is maybe bring your tooth brush and tooth paste in the shower and put them next to your shampoo so that when you get in the shower and go to wash your hair you will see the tooth brush and remember to brush your teeth. I know it sounds weird but I know people who brush their teeth in the shower.

Another thing you can do is maybe set an alarm on your phone or a reminder that will go off saying time to brush your teeth. That way you won't forget to do it. And have the reminder set the same time everyday.

I really hope this helped a little bit.

Hey, Justin!

It can be tricky remembering to brush your teeth.

Setting an alarm on your phone and placing a sticky note on the bathroom mirror sounds like a good idea. Having your toothbrush in an area you see often is a solid reminder too. But I know it can be tough to find a sanitary area in a casual place in which you spend a lot of time around. How about placing a bottle of mouthwash in a common area? It isn't a toothbrush but it's a dental hygiene reminder that'll help remind you. You can keep it on the kitchen counter or table to ensure you see it after breakfast and dinner.

It's a good idea to see your dentist both for a cleaning and to seek reassurance on the health of your teeth. Best of luck!

Do you have a morning routine? Just add it in somewhere using the little reminders others have posted.

What is something you are into? It may not work but sometimes having little games help. For example, I pretend that my teeth are cars at a station and need cleaning. I have such a problem with brushing my teeth, especially when I am in a bad mood and can't be bothered. Neglecting hygiene is something I struggled with for ages. However, I cannot turn down washing cars Again, I don't know if this helps or not but I usually have to make up something playful to get myself to do things. Well, I when I worked with kids I came up with a few of those things like during clean-up time, they had to put the animals back into their homes so they can reunite with their families/go to sleep etc. And growing up I had a few of those for myself. Now I am blanking out on what those were.

Try keeping reminders on your phone. It would definitely help
