Weight loss and extra skin - October 4th 2018, 08:55 PM

Hey, So I have been on weight watchers for over a year and I have lost 67 pounds. I have a lot of extra baggy skin on my stomach upper arms and thighs because of the weight I have lost. I am wondering if anyone knows any exercises that will help tone up all of this extra skin so I won't have so much of it.

I don't really want advice on easy fixes like wraps or anything(because I don't think those would work and I don't want to waist my money) If you have any YouTube work out videos that show how to tone all of this skin I would love if you can link them, or link any workout plans that prove to work. I don't know much about exercise so if you just tell me what exercises to do i would love it if you could explain how to do them, so I don't have to look them up.

I also can;t really do hard workouts since I haven't worked out in forever and because I am still 290 pounds I can do a lot of things that have to do with holding my body up, like pull ups.

Firstly, congrats on your progress! Great to see you're trying to get or stay healthy!
So there are a few things you can do:
a) Build muscle. Muscle helps the skin retighten over. So if you're not already, I would get onto a weight training plan (i.e, lift) [drop me a line to discuss if you like]
b) Improve your skin elasticity. Quit smoking if you, eat protein, vegetables and fruit.

Not much you can do beyond that to be honest. If I were you, I would keep reducing weight till you hit your target weight/body fat level and then build some muscle. It may be necessary you need some medical intervention.
