Tight chest -
December 27th 2009, 10:26 PM
On Christmas eve I had loads of my friends' presents in a large gift bag (which was reallyyyy heavy) and had to carry it for nearly a mile to give it to my friends. When I got to my friend's house my chest felt awful and I kept breathing heavily. I had a cig but had to chuck it after smoking about two drags as it was making me feel worse.
On Christmas night, yesterday and today my chest has been really tight /: It doesn't hurt when I breathe as much it's just uncomfortable. I also find it hard to sleep as when I breathe it feels like crap, which is even worse as I have insomnia -______- What could I do to make it feel better? I'm guessing it has to do with Christmas eve as it's the only thing I can think of which may have triggered it. By the way I also have E.D.S. (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) (classical) soooo I think it may have something to do with that if it was to do with Christmas eve. ![]() |

Hey Ceilidh,
I hope by now you're feeling a little bit better; have you seen a doctor? I'm not quite sure what the symptoms/effects of E.D.S. are, but I think your best bet would be to talk with a doctor and just make sure everything is okay. Take it easy and feel good! <3 "Do not ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. yeah i would also recommend seeing your doctor. chest pain/tightness should not be ignored, chances are it's nothing serious but it's best to get this checked out. there is probably a simple explanation, whether it be linked to your illness or not i'm not sure, though.

I'd hazard a guess that you've got a nasty chest sprain or done some damage to the muscles... I'm just guessing because of the E.D.S and heavy presents... But I'm no expert.
If the pain gets worse, or carries on causing you serious discomfort get your self to the doctors. |
