weight gains? - October 9th 2010, 08:20 PM

okay so i have been in kick boxing now since the first or second week of august its going absolutely great, im building endurance, cardio, and strength my physio therapist said im getting stronger and mma is making me stronger but i've been gaining alot of weight im trying my best to make small changes to eating healthier and my lifestyle is pretty busy and go go go for the most part... [Edited] 5'6 and im a 15 almost 16 year old girl i don't look obese and my arms, legs, and thighs have toned up and my upper body is starting to get more toned as well not darastically though but im gaining more and more weight and my measurements stay the same...my waiste has been steady [Edited] ...should i be worried that's a big gain i think it's muscle but my stomach fat just wont go away it always stay's the same my trainer is trying to GAIN weight [Edited] he's 20 and around my height but he's all muscle how does he not weight more than me?

You're gaining more weight and doing more exercise? Sounds like you are building muscle don't worry.

Alright Jamie, I am positive this is just a Muscle gain, when I got scouted to join the Bristol City FC academy at around 15 I was a good solid build, but as I did alot of training and cardio work with the team and I started gaining a fair bit of weight, now it's all leveled out and I lost pretty much any belly fat I had and am now pretty much all muscle 2 years later, give it time mate you will start to tone around the belly soon.

now my weights dropped back down to [Please do not post weight numbers anywhere on TeenHelp.] and now my body is still exactly the same as it was before...
