Talking workout ideas??? - December 3rd 2010, 01:47 PM

Starting the first of next semester I have an hour and a half of workout time scheduled every school day. our school has a pretty nice workout gym, but i need program or system or something to follow. anyone have any ideas or do this too???/

On monday, wednesday and friday do a basic lifting routine like Starting Strength or something. Just do some cardio on the other days.

Couch to 5K is a pretty good cardio program. Also make sure you take a day for a break every week.

I suggest checking up on youtube for workout idea's they have some great ideas on there depending on what you want to do, if you want to increase your core strength, build muscle ect. I've never actually worked out in a gym, I've done Insanity along with Zumba and jogged everyday when I was being REALLY active.

Is there anything in specific you want to work on or any sports you play? Improving your overall health is great but you can also improve your performance in other activities at the same time!
