Arrow omg whats happening?! please help!!!!!! - April 11th 2011, 08:20 PM

uummm ok so i just got over a cought this weekend and now my throat is sore on one side and the only way to swallow without wincing is to turn my head!
and there is abruiseish-bumpish thing on the top of my mouth thats been there for about 2 or so weeks and my mom and dad know about it but i dont know what to do about anything!!!!!! please help

Rashel,

I'd suggest seeing a doctor. It doesn't sound familiar to me, but anything that concerns you as much as this eems to be, is worth seeing a doctor about. I hope you get it sorted soon. Stay safe.

I've had something that seems similar to what you're having... especially the pain when you're swallowing. It's probably some kind of inflamed throat infection. [EDIT]

It's better you go and see the doctor about it because the only way to tell for sure is someone looking into your mouth to see it.

You could give it a go yourself. What I did is just shine a torch into my mouth in front of a mirror when I had that kind of pain... and I could actually see the swelling, it was red as hell.
