Cellulite - September 21st 2011, 12:37 AM

How do you get rid of it? Is it possible?

There's not many proven treatments or preventive measures, though working out, moisturizers, and laser treatments can be effective. Laser treatment is expensive and usually require ongoing treatment. Working out - keeping toned - is more effective and cost efficient.

Cellulite is very common and considered normal as you age. It is caused by many factors, mostly hereditary, age, and where your fat cells gather. See your dermatologist if you want ideas on other treatments - your family doctor can refer you to one.

Yeah, there are a lot of creams that will say they can get rid of it, but few with proven results.

The best way I would say is working out, and keeping a healthy diet. If you already have it, I would see a dermatologist about it, because a lot of products will say they work, or diet pills will say they "bust cellulite" but as I've read in Prevention, most of these are a waste of your money. Anything that actually works is probably prescribed.

I've heard drinking lots of water can help too, but also make sure to exercise and tone up. Tightening the skin should help make it go away. Other then that, see a dermatologist as others suggested

And here you are living, despite it all.
