Really sore neck won't stop :(

For the past few days my neck has been really sore and stiff. I told my doctor about it who says it is probably just stress and it will go away. But it hasn't gone away yet and it is hard to live with and hard to take care of my baby when I am in constant pain. Lying down doesn't help magic bag doesn't help neither does memory foam pillow. Does anyone have any other sugestions? I would be very grateful.

Try doing some exercises. The most common ones:

Put your hands behind your neck so your fingers connect and push on your head. As you do this, slowly move your hed forward until it is touching your chest. Rest there for 30 seconds. Repeat.

Also, tilting slowly - your head side to side can help as well.

Take some ibuprofen or motrin or advil. Heat pads not ice packs. Hot shower or bath for at least 30 minutes. As hot as you can stand,

And some people suggest sleeping WITHOUT a pillow and on your back.

Hope this helps! The stretching helped me today actually. I had to push on the muscles with one hand and do the side-to-side stretches but now I'm able to turn my head a bit more
