It's almost impossible to say what you might or might not have from just that, there are a number of things that can cause pain.
To be honest it could be anything from gas to cancer.
I would however suggest not waiting to see your doctor in a week, and possibly going to the hospital if it hurts that bad, it could be something serious that requires immediate attention.
I mean, it could be nothing, but at the same time it could be something serious.

The best thing to do is make sure to let your doctor know how long you've been having this pain, location, pain level on the scale 1-10, etc. Be specific and let them know how serious you are about finding out what is going on to cause this. Don't let them push you around.

I agree with Rick, if its that bad then you should go to the hospital. Don't wait around to see your doctor and suffer in pain.

it's difficult to say what it could be, and we're not medical professionals. it could be any one of a number of things.

The liver is the main organ about where you described. There's also the gallbladder and more towards the posterior of the body is the kidneys...It could be anything...for sure go to a doctor and get it checked...

Kidneys maybe?
not sure. But don't freak until you know exactly what it is.panicking doesn't help anything.
