I can't have sex sober!!!!! - October 3rd 2009, 03:05 AM

I wasn't sure to put this in Sex or Substances but here we go...

Ok, so my problem is that I need to be drunk (or sometimes high but usually drunk) in order to have sex. It's the only way I can feel comfortable/get in the mood. Even though the desire to have sex is on my mind while sober too, I just can't do it until I have a few drinks in me! It's been a very long time since I've had sober sex with anyone, and I don't even know how to do it anymore. I'm just too anxious and I think too much. But when I'm drunk I'm much more relaxed and can actually have fun with it. But I know this isn't good or normal. What should I do??? I don't even know anymore. :\

(TEEN DRINKING IS VERY BAD!)

Hey!
So you desire to have sex while you're sober, but you cant.
What about other sexual or intimate activities?
Can you do those while you're sober?
I would suggest that you try those other activities while sober, and maybe it would lead up to sober sex?
I'm not sure how to really help you with this because I don't really know all the information.
Maybe try it out.
It might help.
Maybe if you can post more information, or send me a PM with it.
That would help me help you.

(:
Thanks.
Take care.

When you can't find your way home,
and when life gets too hard to face on your own.
I will stand as a light through the darkness unknown,
I will walk with you, so you're never alone.

I'm pretty sure you're either not in touch with yourself sexually or you're self conscious. If you can' t have sex sober, you probably aren't mature enough for sex period. Having sex in an altered state first off isn't smart at all unless you're dating the person. How do you know they don't have an STD? How do you know they won't take advantage of you? You need to reconsider your sexual side and evaluate it before having sex again because you'll never really enjoy sex or feel comfortable with it until you feel comfortable with your sexuality and self.
