Unhappy Losing My Best Friend: What Should I Do - November 5th 2012, 02:45 PM

I am losing my best friend, and honestly I'm wondering if I should forgive her or not. We have been friends for seven years and have been through everything together. Back in late August, I got in a situation with one of my best guy friends. We dated and one thing led to another, he and I aren't friends anymore. I know I've been talking about this situation and him a lot, but it has practically destroyed me. Recently, like in the past two or three weeks, she has been talking about me behind my back to my other friends, saying things like I've been stuck up his butt and died there and all this stuff. I've been trying to stop talking about him so I can move on, but even she brings him up sometimes! Not to mention, practically all she talks about is her boyfriend. Whenever I try to talk about something else, she zones out. What do you guys think I should do?

Hey there!
I'm sorry you have to go through this. I went through something really close to this recently.
Talk to her about it. Tell her how you feel. If you really want to stay friends see if there's something that can be worked out.
If she brings you down all the time, well, it's sad but it might be better if you weren't friends with her.

It sucks! But keep your head up. Everything will work out for the best (:
