FAMILY UGH - September 5th 2013, 12:58 AM

Having a special Ed sister who acts like a 12 year old when she is 24 and a mother whose is an alcoholic I am surprised I am not screwed up more than I am. My grandparents and I were at the casino since we live so close and all they could do is call all three of us and bother us with nonsense shit. My sister literally throws fits like she is a 4 year old and we have had to call the cops on her three times. She was hitting my mom and then my mom apparently went out and bought alcohol. They made me grandma miserable and say she has no life. It makes me feel bad because I am 21 almost 22 years old and still live at home and hear noises to the point were I can't be in the house by myself. I feel like I am a burden on my grandma too because I am too over weight and have problems with depression and anxiety to get a job so I stay at home all the time and that makes me feel like shit. I have no clue what to do. And when I think about being a burden on my grandma I want to cut so bad and it has been 6 months since the last time I cut. I don't know what to do.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are

Hi Frankie,

My sincerest apologies that you haven't received any replies quicker than this.

I can understand that you would be very frustrated and worried with such huge strain upon you for such a sustained period time.

I think you should try talking to someone - a friend, or counsellor - about the way you're feeling about all these different things. Hopefully they would be able to give you support and encouragement - for instance, in getting yourself a job, or overcoming your depression.

Congratulations on being able to stop your Self Harm for such a long time - I'm sure your grandmother loves you, and appreciates your stress currently, I would recommend trying not to feel quite such a burden. If ever you feel it, remind yourself that you're not - you're a wonderful human being, even if you have had a difficult time so far in life.

If you ever feel like you need to chat to anyone, I'm here - just send me a PM.

Skittlify me up...

...well, I try, anyway. .......................
