Mum is starting to irritate me - August 31st 2014, 10:28 AM

My mum always wants to know what I'm doing. If I go into my room she will always tell me to come back into the living room. She yells at me when she loses something of hers and tells me I will not leave until she finds it. She tries to stop me from leaving her presence by making me do countless jobs. She yells at me if I make a mistake. She only gets mad on weekends and nights, literally the only times I see her, it's so irritating, can you give me any suggestions to let her have my own privacy?!

Why not discuss these issues with her in a calm manner and see where it takes you.. no point beating by the bush. It's all about being assertive.

Hey there,

I would suggest talking to your mum about how she's making you feel. She could be going through something in her own personal life or at work that's making her act this way. You could also try talking to your dad about it or an adult figure that you trust.

Feel free to message me if you would like to talk!
