i really didnt mean to. - January 7th 2010, 05:55 PM

my dad had a bike accident a while ago, and it messed up his knee.
he is having an op for it very soon.

ive been off school all week because im ill, and hes been mucking around with me like tickleing and stuff, i tell him i went him to stop but he still does it. and today i just got really fustrated and kicked him. its one of those kicks that you dont mean to do. but i got him in his bad knee.
as soon as i done it i had a sudden rush of litrally terrified. he started shouting and stuff saying its the worst thing that i could do. he wont stop going on about it.
but the thing is the ops gonna fix all that. i have a back problem that he knows hurts me alot but he still mucks around with me and stuff. but the doctors dont know if they can fix it because of my other back problem.
so all i keep thinking is 'at least they can fix your problem'
i dont moan about it like he did with his knee.
so i went upstairs and started crying and i know hes gonna tell my mum and shes gonna talk to me and im gonna get wound up again

Hi Anna
We all know rough play can get out of hand, and it was definately not your fault. And I know you didn't mean to it was just an accident. Accidents do happen and when your dad can

realise that the better. He had no right to yell at you like that anyway. And if he does tell your mum, and your mum yells, just stay out of their way for a few hours, until everyone calms down. In the end you could just say to your dad your sorry, hopefully he will accept apology and you can just forget about it and move on.
