Unhappy happy yet not happy - May 7th 2010, 05:55 PM

Ok the thing is my gf is going to be sectioned befor to long(im not sure how long she wont say), i'm really happy that she will be getting the help she has needed and cant seem to find anywhere else. But at the same time im scared about loosing her. i realy dont know what to do

The best thing you can do is find out when you can visit her, talk to her, etc and see if you and her family can work out some kind of overall plan while she is sectioned.

Just keep in mind that this will really be beneficial to her overall, even if it seems difficult along the way.

i know how much its going to help her dont get me wrong. im jsut scared that i'll loose her or summit, i know it sounds stupid

I don't think it's stupid to worry about losing her. She could become a different person, upon leaving the hospital... and she may want to have a fresh start on life, one where she's no longer dating you. However, there's really no point in worrying about something that may not happen. =) For now, you're still her loving boyfriend... and so long as things remain that way, and so long as she continues to receive help, I would try to focus on more positive things. Visit her, stay in touch with her, maintain a strong communication with her while she's sectioned. =D
