How can I get over the past? My best friend and I are extremely close but we did go through a period where we fought constantly, idk why exactly but we did. She said some, well we both did, really mean and hurtful things. We've both apologized and all but I still can't get over some of the things she said. Will I eventually get over it or how can I?

Hey there, I'm sorry that it's taken a few days to get a reply!

You will eventually get over these things. But they obviously bothered you that much that they're still in your mind a bit. I don't know how to get these things out of your mind, but you just need to remember that they are in the past and you should just try your best to forget about them. I know it's hard but it can be done. Try to do other things to keep your mind off it and you should be okay.

Take care.

I believe it is possible to forgive, but not to forget. Will you eventually get over this? Probably. Will you ever forget what she said/did to you? Not really, but you CAN reach a point where you rarely think about the event in question.
