Birthday Present D: - April 11th 2011, 12:29 AM

Girls, feel free to comment as well.

I have one guy friend. And we haven't been friends for that long.

His birthday is this week, and I can't figure out what to get him. I know nothing about what guys want for birthdays! Here's what I'm going off for ideas:

-he doesn't have an iPod (no so iTunes card)
-he likes watching wrestling on tv
-he shoots hoops outside

I was thinking maybe a dvd, but I don't even know what movies he likes A gift card is my fallback, but I don't want to be too generic...help?

Well, he's gotta like music even if he doesn't have an ipod; a CD perhaps?

If you haven't been friends for long, then I'm sure he wouldn't hold it against you if you got him a gift card. Umm... maybe you could do something fun together, like go bowling? Miniature golf? Perhaps a movie ticket instead of a DVD, so the two of you can go watch something together in the theaters? So long as he doesn't get the wrong idea and think it's a date. xD You could also call/text one of your mutual friends and ask for ideas.

Get him a gift card to a food store, or something of that sort. It is the thought that counts, so don't worry about getting something fancy. Like the others have mentioned, get him a cd, or a DVD. Get him a hat, or a T-Shirt. If all else fails, have a conversation with him. Don't mention buying him a birthday gift, but talk about what kinds of things he is interested in. This might help you figure out what you are going to get him. I can totally see how difficult this is to you. You would hate to give him something that he isn't going to like. That is completely normal for anyone who is giving a gift to someone. I hope things go well for you. This is a nice thing you are doing for this boy. Hope you end up finding the right present.

If he likes to shoot hoops then why not buy him a basketball?

I agree with getting him a basketball. You can also get him basket ball gear too.
If he likes wrestling on TV, you could get him a wrestling movie, as you said he likes movies too.

don't get him a giftcard! that's so impersonal and I'd feel borderline insulted lol. I'd rather get nothing.
Also pretty certain he's got a basketball already

I think a DVD is a good shout, ask a mutual friend to help you pick one out?

(RAH)² + (AH)³ + RO(MA + MAMA) + (GA)² + OOH + (LA)² = Bad Romance

Religion is like a penis.
It's fine to have one.
It's fine to be proud of it.
But please don't whip it out in public and start waving it around.
And PLEASE don't try and shove it down my throat.

If he likes watching wrestling in TV I can asume it's WWE?
Why not get him a t-shirt of WWE.

Age would help, I don't buy many gifts for people aside from my family. I really dont think you should spend a lot of money maybe a funny tee-shirt or somthing like that.
