Hello, and welcome to TeenHelp! =)

I'm not familiar with the laws in South Carolina, but I would ask your mother to stay in touch with her attorney/lawyer in case things change when you turn 16 (in some states, simply being one year older determines whether or not you're able to choose the parent you would like to live with). You and your mother may even be able to appeal the decision now. You could also look into something like legal emancipation: if you can prove you'll be able to go to school while working a job and living somewhere reliable (ex. your mother's house), then you may be able to leave your father's house before you turn 18.

Robin said what I was going to say. But as a side note, it seems that living with your dad is not the best for you. Usually a judge will put the child in the most stable enviornment. I don't know what your mom is like, but what your dad does as far as a parental figure is seeminly borderline neglect. Not buying you the things you need, sleeping all day, etc is neglect. If I were you, I would record all this and make it record. Then I would talk to your mom and see what she can do. Good luck.

THe laws where you live will be different where i live but where i live your mum should be able to apply for custody and you should be able to talk to a lawyer and tell them what you want. You should talk to your parents and see if its the same there. Good luck.
